We have an extensive range of modern laboratory equipment, including two different blood analysers, enabling our veterinary team to perform many important tests right here in the clinic. This means we can quickly identify what may be happening with your pet and, where appropriate, begin treatment without unnecessary delays.
Blood & Urine Testing.
Cytology.
Blood and urine tests provide valuable information that cannot always be identified through a physical examination alone. They can help us uncover underlying disease, monitor your pet’s health and guide treatment decisions.
Testing can be performed during your pet’s consultation or, when required, before surgery to help ensure they are as safe as possible for anaesthesia.
Our in-house laboratory provides rapid testing for many routine blood and urine investigations, while our network of specialist veterinary pathologists gives us access to further expert analysis when more complex testing is required.
Our in-house microscopes allow our veterinary team to examine samples from your pet’s ears, skin and other areas right here in the clinic.
We can often identify the cause of irritation or infection and provide answers straight away. This means we can recommend and, where appropriate, provide the right medication during the same visit - helping your pet start feeling better, sooner!
